A table set with intention, a kitchen running with heart.
Montes De Oca started with a simple conviction: the best dining experiences don't need pretense. They need good ingredients, honest cooking, and the kind of warmth that makes a first-time guest feel like a regular by dessert.
Our kitchen draws from the rich culinary currents of the Americas — the smoky depth of the South, the bright citrus of the Caribbean, the slow-fire traditions of the Southwest — and brings them together on one plate. Everything is made from scratch, sourced locally when the season allows, and cooked the way our families taught us.
We opened our doors on SW 8th Street because Coral Gables felt like home. That neighborhood energy — the brick sidewalks, the live oaks, the people who actually wave at each other — it became part of our recipe.
